How to Approve Work Submissions

Once your Genie has completed a task and submitted their work, you’ll need to review and approve it so they can get paid.

1. Go to the Task Dashboard

  • Log in to your RemoteGenies account.
  • From your dashboard, select the task you want to review.

2. Review the Submitted Work

  • Click on the task name to open the details page.
  • Check the attached files, links, or notes submitted by your Genie.
  • If you need clarification or changes, use the GenieChat within the task to communicate with them before approving.

3. Approve the Submission

  • Locate the “Status” field (It’s right under the task title)
  • If everything looks good, click Completed (this button will be visible at the bottom of the submission).
  • This action will confirm completion and release the payment to the Genie after the 7-day holding period (per our Terms of Use).

4. Leave a Rating & Review

  • After approval, you’ll be prompted to rate the Genie’s work (1–5 stars) and leave a short written review.
  • Reviews help maintain quality and assist other clients in choosing the right Genie for future tasks.

5. Dispute if Needed

  • If there’s an issue and you do not want to approve, click Open Dispute instead.
  • Provide details and evidence for our Project Coordinator to review, in line with our Dispute Policy.
