How to add subtasks
Subtasks are smaller, specific actions or deliverables that break down your main task into more manageable pieces. Adding them helps both you and your Genie stay organized and track progress more clearly.
When to Add Subtasks
- When a project has multiple deliverables that can be completed separately.
- When different parts of the work require different deadlines.
- When you want to give your Genie a clear, step-by-step checklist.
Example: If your main task is “Design a Landing Page in WordPress”, your subtasks could be:
- Create wireframe layout.
- Design hero section.
- Add testimonials and call-to-action buttons.
- Optimize for mobile.
Adding Subtasks Before a Genie Is Assigned
- Go to your Tasks page.
- Select the task you want to edit.
- Scroll to the Subtasks section
- Add each subtask name and any relevant details.
- Save your changes.
These subtasks will be visible to all Genies viewing your task so they understand the full scope before bidding.
